Representative Matters:


Representation of client that issued in excess of $120 million in subdivision improvement bonds in state court and in its principal’s bankruptcy, including membership on the unsecured creditors committee.

Defense of, and recovery of substantial contribution from, CGL carriers regarding $5 million dollars of alleged construction defects in connection with the construction of a casino on tribal land in Oregon.

Negotiation of agreements, defense and prosecution of claims and lawsuits over a nine year time period, regarding construction of a $100 million dollar waste management/electrical generation plant.

Defense of the longest construction arbitration in the history of the Western United States, with 242 days of testimony extending over a four year time period.

Defense of an Administrative Claim filed on behalf of the State of Alaska. The State seeks in excess of $2 million dollars related to the construction of maintenance and sand storage buildings in Soldotna, Alaska. In addition to the Administrative claim, we represent our clients in the related bankruptcy proceeding and in a lawsuit in federal court.
