Commercial Bond Litigation

Gascou Hopkins handles complex litigation involving almost every type of commercial bond.  Our expertise extends to subdivision, license, probate, judicial, financial guarantee and miscellaneous bonds.  We draw on our experience with CGL policies and other insurance resources to find ways to shift risks from our clients to others.

Our attorneys are adept at effecting early case resolution to spare our clients the high costs of discovery, pretrial litigation disputes, and trial.  However, when necessary, Gascou Hopkins is well prepared to try or arbitrate a case to conclusion.  Our firm also has extensive bankruptcy experience and can effectively protect our client’s interests as creditors.

Representative Matters:

Negotiation of agreements, defense and prosecution of claims and lawsuits over a nine year time period, regarding construction of a $100 million dollar waste management/electrical generation plant.
